Juventus steps ahead in signing Matthjis De Ligt with a €70m bid | 2019

After a splendid season by AFC Ajax star Matthijs de ligt, even though knocking out of the Champions league semifinal was a part of it but on the other hand he also won KNVB cup and the Netherlands domestic league Eredivisie and he played an immense role in clutching his team to the Champions League semifinal, he drew much attention in the world of football. As a result the 19 years old is currently in sight of top clubs like PSG, Manchester United, FC Barcelona and FC Bayern Munich.

On his transfer news the Ajax Head coach Erik Ten Hag stated, 

                                                                                  "He will leave us this summer, but i don't know whether he'll join Bayern or Barcelona".

 After all the transfer news, it seems that Juventus have hijacked the transfer of the young Dutch by making a €70m bid on the youngster. 

It clearly seems that the link of Matthijs De Ligt to Juventus was formed because of Cristiano Ronaldo's offer to the youngster of joining Juventus during the celebration of UEFA Nations League.

Upon asking De Ligt about Cristiano's offer he replied,

                                                                      " That could be true, yes. I didn't understand him at first. I was a little shocked, so I laughed, but I didn't say anything".
